Programs
Recovery Programs
A program is a named recovery with stages, criteria and a written plan. Every one of them runs Stages 1 to 4 of the Phoenix Recovery Protocol, so the method is the same whichever door you come in through. What changes is the procedure, the timeline and the therapist.
Hand, wrist and elbow
Hand therapy recovery programs
For a recovery with a known shape. Some of these start after an operation. Some run instead of one, or before the decision has been made. Either way the stages are the same, and the criteria to move up are written down.
Flexor Tendon Repair Recovery Program
The repair can pull apart or it can stick down. Everything in the first twelve weeks is a trade between those two.
Stages 1 to 4
De Quervain Tenosynovitis Program
Splint, load change and graded loading. The tendons quieten in a splint and only stay quiet if they are loaded back.
Stages 1 to 4
TFCC and Wrist Arthroscopy Recovery Program
The ulnar side of the wrist is the slowest to settle and the most often rushed.
Stages 1 to 4
Carpal Tunnel Program
Conservative and after release. Includes what does not come back if severe compression is left, and when to see a doctor first.
Stages 1 to 4
Extensor Tendon and Mallet Finger Program
Six to eight weeks of continuous splinting, done properly. Started late or interrupted, the droop is usually permanent.
Stages 1 to 4
Trigger Finger Program
Conservative and after release. The catching is the easy part. The stiff middle joint left behind is not.
Stages 1 to 4
Thumb Base Arthritis Program
Splint, joint protection and graded pinch, or rehabilitation after trapeziectomy.
Stages 1 to 4
Wrist Fracture Recovery Program
Distal radius fractures, scaphoid fractures, and the wrist that came out of a cast stiff. Cast or plate.
Stages 1 to 4
Mallet Finger Recovery Program
The fingertip tendon heals long if the joint bends during splinting. Continuity is the treatment.
Stages 1 to 4
Cubital Tunnel Recovery Program
Ulnar nerve at the elbow, before and after surgery. What recovers, and what does not.
Stages 1 to 4
Dupuytren’s Contracture Recovery Program
After fasciectomy or needle release, the splint holds the correction while the tissue accepts it.
Stages 1 to 4
Scaphoid Fracture Recovery Program
Long immobilization means predictable stiffness. Range and grip are trained back and measured.
Stages 1 to 4
Finger and Metacarpal Fracture Recovery Program
The bone is the straightforward part. The safe splinting position decides whether the hand makes a fist again.
Stages 1 to 4
Stiff Finger Joint Recovery Program
A finger that will not bend or straighten after a fracture, dislocation or splint. Measured range, serial splinting.
Stages 1 to 4
Digital Nerve Repair Recovery Program
A repaired finger nerve regrows about a millimetre a day. Protective sensation usually returns first.
Stages 1 to 4
Knee, hip, shoulder, ankle and back
Physiotherapy recovery programs
The same four stages, run by the physiotherapy team, after orthopedic surgery and after the injuries that do not settle on their own.
Achilles Rupture Recovery Program
The tendon knits on a timetable. The calf comes back only if it is trained, and single heel raise is the test.
Stages 1 to 4
Meniscus Surgery and Knee Arthroscopy Program
The scope takes twenty minutes. The quadriceps that switched off before it takes longer.
Stages 1 to 4
ACL Reconstruction Recovery Program
Before the operation and after it. Quadriceps, single leg control, and hop testing before clearance rather than a date.
Stages 1 to 4
Knee Replacement Recovery Program
The bend is easier to gain early than late. Range, then strength, then stairs without the handrail.
Stages 1 to 4
Hip Replacement Recovery Program
The hip stops hurting long before the muscles around it are strong. The limp is trained out, not waited out.
Stages 1 to 4
Rotator Cuff Repair Recovery Program
Protected first, then range, then loaded. The stage most people cut short is the one that decides it.
Stages 1 to 4
Lumbar Microdiscectomy Recovery Program
Decompressing the nerve and rehabilitating the spine are two different jobs. Only one happened in theatre.
Stages 1 to 4
Hip Arthroscopy and FAI Recovery Program
A short operation with a long rehabilitation. The gluteals switch off and have to be trained back.
Stages 1 to 4
Ankle Ligament Reconstruction Recovery Program
Repeated sprains damage position sense as well as ligament. Both are trained back and both are measurable.
Stages 1 to 4
Shoulder Replacement Recovery Program
Anatomic and reverse replacements rehabilitate almost oppositely. Which one you had decides the first six weeks.
Stages 1 to 4
Ankle Fracture Surgery Recovery Program
Six weeks off the ankle costs about a third of your calf. That is the limp, not the plate.
Stages 1 to 4
Assessments
Where everyone starts
Every patient begins with an Assessment & Treatment: one 45-minute appointment at $230. We find the core issue driving the problem, then spend the rest of the appointment treating it. You leave with a stage diagnosis, what is limiting you, what completion requires, and a written plan. That is the default for everyone, hand or physio.
Assessment & Treatment
The standard first visit. One 45-minute appointment, a stage diagnosis, measurements against your other side, and a written plan you take home.
$230
Stalled Recovery Review
For a hand, wrist or elbow that healed but did not finish recovering. Three appointments across three weeks, because whether it moves cannot be measured in one visit.
$690
Continued Care
For genuinely unpredictable cases, where the trajectory will not fit a described shape. Priced per appointment and reviewed at each stage.
$230 per appointment
If it stalled
When the recovery stopped short
The common version: the operation went well, the pain went, therapy stopped or never started, and the limb settled at about two thirds of what it used to do. Pain is the first thing to leave. Strength and range are the last.
A recovery that stopped improving is not always finished improving. What it needs first is measurement: range against the other side, strength in kilograms, and an honest read of what is realistically recoverable from here.
How they are priced
One unit, stated once
Every program is priced in standard 45-minute appointments at $230, nett, no GST. A program shows its typical range, and your therapist confirms the number at your assessment. There are no packages, no discounts for booking a course and no promotional pricing, because a discount turns a recovery into a bulk purchase.
Everyone starts the same way: an Assessment & Treatment, one appointment at $230. You leave with a stage diagnosis, what is limiting you, what completion requires, and a written plan. If you finish a program early, we refund the unused appointments.
Describe it and we will route you
The operation and its date, or the condition and how long it has been going on. We will tell you which program applies, which therapist runs it, and what the assessment involves.
Five clinics: Orchard, Tampines, Serangoon, Tanjong Pagar, and Jurong East opening 20 October 2026. No referral needed.
