About Ching Yee

Ching Yee is a dedicated physiotherapist with experience across both government and private healthcare setting in Singapore. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy in Taiwan, which allows her to communicate anatomical and rehabilitation concepts fluently in both Mandarin and English.

She believes rehabilitation is more than just treating symptoms. She takes a holistic approach to care, looking beyond pain and movement limitations to understand each client. Her treatment philosophy focuses on empowering clients to move better, feel stronger, and regain confidence in their bodies.

Ching Yee has special interest in treating neck and shoulder pain, particularly conditions related to work-related strain, muscle imbalance and modern sedentary lifestyles.

Combining hands-on therapy, dry needling, movement retraining and exercise prescription, she aims to create individualized treatment plans that are practical, sustainable and meaningful for each client.

Outside the clinic, Ching Yee is deeply connected to the ocean and seaside living. If she’s not on the ground helping clients move better, she’s likely enjoying the breeze at the beach or exploring the sea as an advanced PADI certified diver. She also enjoys swimming, yoga and Pilates, which continue to shape her appreciation for mindful movement and long-term wellness.

HAND THERAPY
One of the few clinics in Singapore with specialist hand therapists on staff.

  • Hand therapy is a specialist discipline that most physiotherapy clinics simply do not have and cannot provide.
  • Hand therapists and hand occupational therapists covers injuries and post-surgical recovery of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder girdle — requiring a different level of clinical training.
  • We also do customized thermoplastic splinting for the fingers, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow and even shoulders and knees too
  • For post-operative hand and wrist recovery, this isn’t optional – it can be significant movement, power, stability and stamina outcomes for someone who did hand therapy versus someone who didnt.

ALREADY SEEING A PHYSIO OR CHIRO?
If your current treatment isn't moving you forward — find out why.

  • Many of our patients come to Phoenix Rehab as a second opinion — after months at another clinic with limited progress.
  • We’ll dive and assess in depth to find out the true cause of the injuries and conditions (clarity and knowledge is half the battle!), work and communicate with your existing doctor, and tell you plainly what we think and know…and treat you of course, the best we can.
  • Many patients are discharged around 70 to 80% recovery. We aim to help you recover as fully as your body allows, the same way we would want for our own family.
  • If you’ve been told to “just manage it” or “learn to live with it” — come in. You may have more options than you’ve been told.
