You're good at your job. The system you're working in doesn't particularly care.
You're good at your job. Your patients know it. Your results show it. But the system you're working inside doesn't particularly reflect that.
- You're seeing too many patients in too little time — and you know the quality of care is suffering for it
- Pay rises go to whoever plays the game best, not whoever does the best clinical work
- You spend evenings on documentation, projects, and admin that have nothing to do with treating patients
- You've watched a less skilled colleague get promoted because they were better at politics
- You wonder what it would feel like to come in, do excellent work, get paid what you're actually worth, and go home
If two or more of those landed — keep reading.
We built this clinic because we lived what you're describing — and refused to keep accepting it.
Before Phoenix Rehab, I spent years inside public healthcare. I was seeing six to eight patients in the same hour. Treatments that should have taken focused clinical attention were being rationed into ten-minute slots. Good therapists around me were grinding themselves down — not from the clinical work, which they loved, but from everything the system stacked on top of it.
The politics. The meaningless projects. The appraisals where merit was secondary to favour. Promotions didn't go to the most skilled. Pay didn't reflect results. Talented people burned out or checked out — and patients received less than they deserved because of it.
"I didn't want to manage that system better. I wanted to build something that didn't have those problems."
In 2008, my wife Louise and I founded Urbanrehab — our first attempt to build a clinic that worked differently. We made every beginner mistake, learned from all of them, and in 2015 the business was acquired by Fullerton Health. We exited fully by 2019.
Then we built Phoenix Rehab. This time, with seventeen years of lessons behind us.
Specific. No vagueness about what you earn or how this works.
Earnings that reflect your skill
Six figures as a floor — $8,300/month minimum. Our top performers have cleared $250,000 a year — and as pricing and caseload grow, that number grows with you. Let us show you what the model looks like with your specific caseload.
Transparent revenue share
No black-box salary structure. Everyone here is on the same contract — no secret deals, no tiered favouritism. You know exactly what you earn per session and why. More patients, better outcomes, more referrals — you earn more. Direct, visible, and the same rules for everyone.
Your schedule, your choice
No rigid 9-to-5. You decide how much you work. Fewer days means lower income — that's honest. But the structure is yours. Build the career and life you actually want.
No appraisals. No performance theatre.
If your patients come back and refer others, you're doing well. That's the feedback mechanism. No annual reviews where you justify your existence to management.
Senior MSK environment only
Every therapist works exclusively in orthopaedic, sports, and musculoskeletal cases. You'll work alongside principal-level clinicians in a genuine learning environment — not just an employment contract.
Your caseload is yours
We don't overhire. We don't split referrals six ways to dilute and control. When you build a caseload here, it's genuinely yours — protected, and growing because of your work.
Who this is not for.
We're deliberately small. We hire rarely and carefully. It's worth being upfront:
- Therapists who want a guaranteed salary regardless of output
- Anyone who thrives on workplace drama or office politics — zero tolerance, no exceptions
- Generalists not deeply committed to orthopaedic and musculoskeletal work specifically
- Therapists looking for a stepping stone — we're building long-term and want people who are too
- Anyone who needs heavy management to stay motivated and accountable
If none of that is you — we're probably worth a conversation.
Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapists, and Hand Occupational Therapists.
Senior or principal level. Deeply committed to orthopaedic clinical work. Ready to build something real.
Three locations open now — Orchard, Tampines, and Serangoon. Tanjong Pagar opens 1 July 2026, Jurong opens 1 October 2026.
We'll find the location that works for you. Location isn't the starting point of the conversation — fit is.
She almost didn't reach out.
One of our therapists had been thinking about making a change for months — sitting with the familiar feeling that something about her current setup wasn't right, but not quite ready to do anything about it.
She sent a message one evening, half-expecting nothing useful to come back.
We had coffee. Walked through the numbers with her current caseload. Talked honestly about what her schedule could look like and what the clinical environment was actually like day to day.
Three months later she had her own caseload, her own hours, and for the first time felt like her career was actually hers. She's earning more. She has more time. It finally makes sense.
We tell this story because the conversation she almost didn't have changed everything. If any part of this page sounds familiar — don't wait until you're unhappy enough to start looking.
