Nadzirah graduated with a Bachelors (Hons) in Occupational Therapy in Singapore Institute Technology (SIT)- Trinity College Dublin (TCD). She had the opportunity to assess and learn the occupational therapy practices (acute, community and primary care) in various settings in Dublin, Ireland.

She embarked her career as an occupational therapist in acute care rehabilitation, which was where she harnessed her interest in the subspecialty that is hand and upper extremities rehabilitation (orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, trauma etc). She has amassed experience assessing and treating patients with a large variety of diagnosis, age and ethnic profiles.

She has demonstrated a strong commitment to teach and empower not only her patients but also to budding medical practitioners. She was given the opportunity to conduct a teaching session on specific upper limb conditions and management, for medical students from Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine).

She was honored to be given the privilege to collaborate with the renowned Clinical Associate Professor Teoh Lam Chuan from Tan Tock Seng Hospital to establish an upper limb rehabilitation protocol specific to Hand Replantation.

During her free time, she enjoys baking, engaging in outdoor activities, playing sports, cycling and trekking. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, parents, friends and cherishing her role as a mother.

Referred by her clients as meticulous and friendly, she has been sought after by clients (especially within the Mummy's community for common injuries like Mummy's Thumb aka De Quervain Tenosynovitis) and hand surgeons in the relevant field.

Cheerful and optimistic, Nurul hopes to empower her clients to achieve their maximal potential in their roles at work as well as their daily activities as she believes that our hands are our utmost important tool to create opportunities in life.
